MAN_UP

Those who want to be part of this elite group (Special Forces) were testing their endurance  at Lake Worth Beach this morning.  At this point they had already been in the water 2 hours and were going for another hour and a half.  If they make the grade they get to go on hi-risk operations.   “Special forces soldiers need to be physically and mentally robust and have the confidence, courage, and skill to operate individually or in small teams”.  This quote pretty much describes the photos.

A former Unite Press International photographer. Spent 9 years with Cruise Ship Photos of London. Moved to Lake Worth from Coconut Grove, with artist husband Fred Hunt. Never leaves the house without a camera. Writes another blog "One Ear Society" dealing with the ins and outs of the art world. Closed her Art Gallery in Coconut Grove after 17 years to relocate in Lake Worth.

  2. I imagine it’ not just endurance but indeed they were one unit, dependent on each other for future survival. I think the first row had the brunt of the onslaught of todays surf. I do have more photos.
